11 PLUS CLASSES

YEAR 4

We teach the children from following years:

Year 4 is the FOUNDATION year for 11 plus Grammar School preparation.
We recommend tuition from Year 4 to build the solid foundation in various subjects.
The course covers BASIC English and Maths in line with the KS2 National. Curriculum i.e. subjects that are taught regularly at school and needed to appear in the 11+ exam.
Emphasis is on building the core skills -

YEAR 5

Year 5 is the MAIN year for 11 plus Grammar School preparation.
We recommend tuition from Year 4 to build the solid foundation in various subjects. However, we work really hard with our Year 5 children to speed them up.
The course covers ADVANCED English and Maths in line with the KS2 National Curriculum i.e. subjects that are taught regularly at school and needed to appear in the 11+ exam.
Emphasis is on building the core skills, exam techniques, tricks and time management

11 PLUS CLASSROOM STRUCTURE

Very interactive class. We do keep the students engaged which is the reason the children look forward to come to our tuition.
Students learn from tutor and also from peers
Regularly take assessments and give honest feedback to parents
The actual seating varies on location, class and time of the year
The students from Year 4 into various Year 5 classes which are specialised based on target schools.
Navy/Azure are super-selective boys (target top schools + private schools)
Magenta/Maroon are super-selective girls (target top schools + private schools)
Orange/Red are mainly for Kent/Bexley/NW/Medway only
